I'm curious to see how they lay out London Olympic Stadium with a baseball field. If we knew that, then that'd be easier.

I've got the stadiums installed via Steam Workshop and played around 6 games just fine in my 1977 MLB historical league. Stadiums and animations looked great.
Then in 2 out of 3 of my games at County Stadium, there was weird flickering when players fielded the ball. Then we went to Exhibition Stadium and when infielders fielded the ball they would throw it towards the outfield and the ball would disappear. The batter would slowly walk to first and when he got there the play by play would resolve. Any idea if this is a problem with the stadium or a bug in OOTP? Any suggestions on what I could do to fix it? This happened with both 3D views. Thanks |

Hello all, I'm new to the game and have a question. I just purchased the direct DL version of OOTP19 a couple of days ago and can't seem to be able to add any historical ballparks. I've read the first post in this thread over and over but no luck. I downloaded "1959 Forbes Field " file, unzipped and placed the folder in the "/ballparks/models" folder making sure there was no sub folder. But when I start a historical exhibition with the 1960 Pirates as the home team, I don't see any screen that lets me select the park editor to manually import the ".prk" file??? And when I start the game, I just get the generic ballpark.
Do you have to start a full season in every year that you add ballparks? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Last edited by dpeters95; 05-18-2018 at 11:18 AM. |

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you're stuck with the generic ballpark when playing a historical exhibition. Kind of new to the game myself but I think I remember seeing that somewhere on one of the threads. The parks will work fine when you create a new game if you follow the directions posted on here.

Really? So you need to start a new season for every different year of ballparks just to add them? What a shame...
Thanks for your reply! |

No you are not stuck. Make sure when unzipping the parks that it doesn’t create a second sub folder. Hard to explain. I’ll look around for the post that explained it easier Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The game is pretty flexible in all the options it has. You can have the 2018 Pirates play in the "1959 Forbes Field" that you installed if you wanted to. But to answer your question, you'd have to create a standard or historical league to use the Silvam/Pstrickert parks.

Yes, thanks but there is no sub folder. I understand that point. The problem is that without losing the current 2018 season I am currently playing, by starting a new season with historical teams, I can't add historical ballparks to play historical exhibitions. There doesn't seem to be any way to import the ".prk" file in the exhibition screens. |

So I downloaded the current Petco and Rogers Centre and on the first screen it shows the new stadium, but when I go to the 3d model, it has the old stadium. I went to a game with those teams, and it was the old field. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Might default to the stadium that came with the game. May need to manually set the 3D Park in the editor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm 99.99% sure that Angels Stadium was enclosed beginning in the 1980 season, not 1988. I remember they did that to accommodate the Rams who began playing there that year. Thanks for the updates and work on these stadiums!

I think the mediafire link in the first post is incorrect for sharing. When I click it brings up my mediafire page and not Silvam's.
The links to the individual files in the rest of the post are fine.
