Again, ST was an unmitigated disaster. Do you think Shawn Slocum, the ST coach, will keep his job?

Well kicking it right at Devin Hester wasn't smart. But the blocked FG, the horrible coverage on returns, it was ugly. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes if we have another bad ST showing vs. Detroit.

A few thoughts....

The worst part about those 18 penalties - EVERY SINGLE ONE was legit. There wasn't any bad or ticky-tack calls going against us.

Three personal fouls among them...

Two INT's taken away due to penalties (already mentioned), and I think two more that got dropped....

Packers ST have been garbage for years now. I don't know how they can go fix it. Go kindap the Eagles' Bobby April?

Cutler really isn't a good QB, or wasn't last night.

I know this has already been beaten to death by the national media, but I saw the comments by McCarthy about not even CONSIDERING letting the Bears score a TD. Apparently he didn't know that 97% of kicks inside the 25 are made? And then it's Robbie Gould, one of the most accurate kickers in league history? Dumb. I'm surprised the Bears didn't take a couple of knees though.

Mark Tauscher, WTF????

I have no sympathy for undisciplined play. And it's been a problem throughout the McCarthy regime. I'm not calling for him to be fired or anything, but it's going to be a long week of practice, I think....

I saw this at the bank today. I guess the G goes upside down when we lose to the Bears?

That's pretty funny. Even up here, there's a couple fellow Packers fans at work. None of them (or me) did something like that

No kidding, I was about to start throwing things.

Thank goodness for John Kuhn on that last drive. If we had to give them the ball back they would have scored.

Being down two LB, two TE, having to run 3rd string FS out there, etc. etc. etc. didn't help.

This was a game going in that I thought there was a very good chance we could lose. Very physical, both QB not getting much chance at all to throw. It's disappointing because the game was very winnable, but I'm not hitting the panic button yet.

Time to hit it.

Rodgers has a concussion.

Lots of bad luck for GB so far. How else to explain all the injuries? It's hard enough to replace a couple of starters without missing a beat. It's even harder to replace playmakers like Finley and Matthews.

Finley is out for 3 to 6 weeks.

It sounds like Matthews is OK, may go on Sunday.

Still unsure on Rodgers but it sounds like the worst case scenario is he'll miss the Miami game but that's it.

Did you see the stats for WASH before and after Matthews left the game?

With Matthews in the game for a little more than three quarters, the Redskins scored 3 points and generated 9 first downs, 172 total yards, 133 passing yards and completed 48% of their passes. 50 of those yards came on one play (when McNabb, flushed from the pocket, hit Moss behind Peprah in the deep secondary).

With Matthews out of the game for most of the fourth quarter and overtime, the Redskins scored 13 points and produced 12 first downs, 201 total yards, 189 passing yards and completed 58.3% of their passes.

The injuries may be piling up, Rodgers may not play this week....

...but at least we don't have #4 throwing crippling interceptions for us anymore!

I'm not sure I buy the conspiracy theory but the trend of non-calls for Rodgers is still horse****.

The DE who hit Rodgers tried to avoid H2H contact. Or so it seemed. He came in high, so he probably knew it was a possibility. The ref also saw the DE come in high, but . . . for some reason didn't make the call. I can recall Rodgers taking several late hits last year that never got called. I know I'm biased, but it sure seems as if the refs protect some QBs more than others.
