Player faces?

Hello

Stupid question from someone who just installed FHM5 but hasn't played since FHM1.

In the old game, you could put player faces in a folder and they'd appear in the game. Now that doesn't seem to work anymore, I always only see a jersey with their number.

Facegen is enabled and I created a new game.

Is the only way really through "import photo file" on a player's profile? I.e. do I have to do that step 1000 times to get pictures for the whole league?

Thanks and happy holidays

It sounds like the setting to auto-load the photo files is off - go to File - Setup/Options - Facegen Settings, and it's the last option on the right (you need to have the first option active as well if it isn't.)

Thanks for your quick answer. It worked, I didn't know there were these settings also in the game.

I have done this and now I get a hybrid result. It loads player faces I have but the ones I don't end up being facegens. Is there a way to either have player photos load or have the shadow default silhouette if there is no picture in the photos folder?

No, sorry, the only way the .fg files can be used if facegen is turned on, which will always generate facegens for the players without fg's. There's no equivalent (yet) of OOTP's option to turn fictional facgens off. If you were just using regular player pictures instead of .fg files, it could be done, since that doesn't require facegen being on to work.
