Historical Play

Okay, we have the ability to create random debut leagues. These leagues are created using the historical wizard and use the MLB setup of whatever year we the user select as a start.

All random debut leagues begin with zero league history. All players begin with zero stats

We the user can edit league structure, rename teams, relocate teams etc. as long as we uncheck the box for historical expansion.

What I desire is a way to create a historical league in the same way a random league is created, with zero past history. Right now we have a box for import entire history. How about right below that we get a box that says, erase entire history. If that box is checked the game knows that if a player happened to miss the year the league started, he will remain absent for the entire history of the league. Example, if I create my league in 1943, I will never see Ted Williams or Joe DiMaggio. But, in not seeing them I also won't have them appear in 1946 with all their prior years stats either.

I like to use real players, but create a fictional environment using my own teams and locations. I like to start as if my league is brand new without any prior history. I do this random debut all the time. I would love to be able to do the same with historical as well. I tried the start several years in advance method, but even after simming 8 full seasons, I ended up with Dixie Walker having a full career full of stats compared to everyone else's one year.
