Question Normalizing Data

I have a plan to start a solo league in 1871 using both real and fictional players. In order to do this I need to find a way to normalize all players in Lahman to the modern era.

I have tried a few techniques and so far have not been happy with the results. I also saw Ankit's DB v4.5 which I could convert to V5 for use. The only problem is it is designed for leagues that start in 1901 and after and I am looking to start in 1871.

I will keep trying to figure this out on my own and if I come up with something good I will share it but My question is: does anyone have a complete Normalized Lahman DB they are willing to share or at least a technique they used in getting the data?

Thanks for any help.
