I to ask this, but what program are you guys using to extract the RAR file? You should be using WINRAR.
No, I sent it to a zipped folder so I could extract it using winzip, that should work I would think.

I'm not sure we are following each other here so I'll expand on what I said earlier;

The file is a RAR file and as such needs to be extracted with WINRAR or a compatible utility program. Rar files are similar to Zip files in that they are compressed. WINRAR and WINZIP are the same type of program using different compression techniques. Download WINRAR and install on your machine then as you would for a ZIP file, right click on the RAR file and choose "EXTRACT FILES" (the icon for which appears as a stack of multi-coloured books). Select the install path of your choice and click "ok". Before you start your game make sure that the folder "CubbyFanMLBAAA06.lg" is now in your "saved_games" folder of the OOTP2006/DATA directory.

Good Luck,

edit: changed a word that could have caused further confusion

And on a side note -- I've started hitting the project again... I needed a little break, was getting a bit burnt out. Please post if you're having issues downloading the file still in RAR form.

Good Luck,
I did all that using WinRar... Ill try again

EDIT: I think I figured it out. it creates a folder called cubbyfanmlbaaao6.lg which CONTAINS the actual league folder so I just drug the whole thing to my SPorts Interactive directory, which fouled the game up. Thanks for your help, guys.

Well if you go into the game setup for the league that hte minor league team is in, go to the affiliations part and select none, then reselect Cleveland you should be able to drop the team to last in line with regard to the Cleveland affiliations.

I know it seems a little out of the seqitur at the moment but am I the only one who's not getting player names on the boxes when trying to play out the games?

Can someone PLEASE set up a mirror?

Deadringer

That's what I tried and it didn't work for me.
Nor me. I don't want to start with the minors out of synch.

So how many of the "major" prospects do not have accurate ratings right now?
