Would anyone at all be interested in a 56 team quickstart based solely in Kentucky?

I already have all the logos, jersey's, caps, and about half of the stadiums complete. It would just be a matter of putting it all together in a quickstart package. If I just set it up for myself I will probably cut a lot of corners. However, if someone is interested I'm willing to go the distance with it. Please let me know. Thanks!

I would be interested in this for sure. Don't go "all out" just for me, of course, but if others express interest I think it would be cool. I walk to Covington and Newport on a regular basis, so I would love a league based in the good ole Commonwealth.

LOL, when I read the title of this thread I was like "no way anyone responds to that" but here we are. OOTP is so great, even something this esoteric someone has an interest. Great community.

Your interest alone is plenty incentive for me, I just didn't want to do a bunch of work and then have no one even bother to give it a try. Also, Newport and Covington both have teams which you can get a peak of below. It will probably take me at leat a week, but I'll definately start working on putting a quickstart together soon and post it as soon as I'm done.

Just wanted to give a little update for you guys who were interested in this quickstart. My original guess was this would be finished today, but I've hit a small snag. My original plans for the stadiums aren't working out like I had hoped, and I have to go a completely different route. This will probably set me back at least 3 or 4 more days. If anything else comes up I'll let you guys know, if not, I'll post it ASAP.

Just wanted to let those interested know that I'm currently running what I hope will be the final test sim. I would have easily been finished by yesterday, but I decided at basically the last minute to add a 50-team high school and 25-team college feeder league. These are all real KY High Schools and Colleges with the most up to date real logos that I could find. If all goes well, I hope to have this quickstart uploaded sometime tomorrow afternoon, maybe a tad sooner. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay guys. I know I missed my estimated date a handful of times, but I’m finally finished. Every time I thought I was nearing completion I realized I forgot something. Then I would have to run an all new test sim to make sure everything worked properly. I wouldn’t be surprised if I still missed something and if I did I apologize in advance. The Bluegrass Baseball Alliance quick start will be posted in a new thread in the next couple hours. Thanks!

No problem. I hope you like it. I have several more ideas for quickstarts that I want to get around to, and if I ever do I plan on posting those too.

I hope you like it. I just finished the inaugural draft last night and won my first game 9-1. There were also some very exciting games involving computer controlled teams on the first day in league history. J.J. O'Connor of the Mt. Washington Mallards finished the top of the 9th with a no-hitter on exactly 100 pitches. However, the game was tied at 0. No worries though, as the Mallards won it 1-0 in the bottom of the 9th on a walk-off single. Then a potential all-time record for runs in a single game was recorded when the Grayson Gladiators rallied from a 7-2 deficit to beat the Paris Panthers 26-20.

This is really cool. I'm from Kentucky and have done something similar called the Kentucky Baseball Association.

I have 48 teams (2 leagues each with four divisions of six teams each). The Leagues are Wildcat and Chandler. The Wildcat League has the Derby, Western, Bluegrass, and Central Divisions while the Chandler League has the Gateway, Mountain, Trace, and Boone Divisions.

I have it set up with full minors (AAA, AA, A, Rookie, College, and High School) with regional minor league affiliates for each major league team . Winners of playoffs from each league play for The Bourbon Cup. I am seven years into my Kentucky baseball universe. The Owensboro Alliance have dominated already winning three Bourbon Cups. I've also attached a screen shot of my current season which shows all the teams by league and division.
