question about "catcher ability"

Does this rating include pitch framing and also, does a higher catcher ability also improve the performance of the pitcher?

If I remember correctly pitch framing is considered a part of catcher ability after that baseball prospectus article came out last year or so.

Yes, I believe it slightly can affect pitching performance.

May want to do a search in the OOTP 14 forums as I believe it was confirmed in a thread around this time last year.

It would be nice to have pitch framing with it's own rating.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Yes. Modern research went into this, so excellent catchers will save you plenty of runs during the season And the AI is aware of it too.
