[REQUEST] Hiring minor league coaches, etc...

So the way the game is now, as each individual minor league season ends, the free agent coaches come onto the market, and usually disappear in a day or two, meaning you have to sim each day in the game and check the available personell list daily. Which can be a chore. And annoying.

What I suggest is - having there be a morotorium on hiring in September/October, and the first day of the offseason (11/3?) that morotorium is lifted.

Good idea? Bad? Am I being lazy?

Not a bad idea, but I'd say it should be an optional thing that's set up in the game.

But here's the deal for me: In real life, when coaches are release from their contracts, I would expect there would be a frenzy of contract signing activity, as coaches climb the ladder around the league, so whatever the date, set a note or reminder somehow to catch this. And in this year's game, since signing coaches even if the position is filled already is in, that should make it a little easier to keep your ranks filled.

Only if it's optional.

If I need a coach, I don't want to wait 2 months to sign one, I'm signing one I like when he's available.

I don't get the "annoying chore" part of this at all. As a GM, it's one of your responsibilities.

Also when you lose a coach... the sim should stop for you to address this.
