The RAR format offers more advanced features than the ZIP format does, including tighter compression, more special modes, stronger encryption, easier multivolume archives, better recovery, and better foreign language support. A lot of people know that RAR is a superior format and use it accordingly. The only real advantage to having an archive in ZIP format is that you know that everyone can extract files from it. You put out a RAR, and exactly what happened in this thread is what usually happens.

The new big thing in compression is 7-Zip, which I like a lot and which is Open Source and therefore free. You can find it at http://www.7-zip.org/ - check it out if you have the time.

Cubbyfan, our league, www.gmba.allsimbaseball.com will be using your roster sets, so I can't wait till they come out. I thought they were going to come out last night though?, so if they have... can someone show me them. (with the service time, etc..)

The amount of time you've either spent as a pro, in the MLB, or on the 40 man roster. It effects when you go to arbitration, become a FA, eligible for the Rule 5, 6 year minor league FA, etc.

I heard somewhere that you had not done the AL prospects. Is this true? If so any timeframe as to when to expect them?

They've been done, just not extensively, they'll be done as BA releases their top ten reports, minors are still pretty in depth however.

The file is done! Waiting for my uploading partner to come back from away and they'll be up.

is anybody else experiencing this? For 2.0, the ratings are ALOT different from 1.5 and some are worse like Justin Upton's speed is down and McCarthy's endurance is like 4 now compare to last update where it was 8 or something (hes a SP)?

plus Seo is back on the Mets, Sanchez back on the Dodgers..

heilman should have starter endurance even though he is being used in the pen.

Cubbyfan,

Just wanted to point out a stat error for Kameron Loe of the Texas Rangers for 2005.

You have an ERA of 8.71 for him: http://gmba.allsimbaseball.com/lgreports/p1898.html

It should be 3.42: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7465

Thanks
