Depth Chart?

One of the tools in EHM that I used so much and really enjoyed was the team depth chart you could view that your Assistant GM would make. He'd rank every player in the system by position, as well as ranking the overall top prospects.

Will there be a feature similar to this in FHM 2?

Yeah I always liked that too. Helps with planning out my roster.

You can sort your scout's views of a player, filtered by position, by any various measure whether it's an overall rating like star rating, or a specific rating on a certain skill.

Same thing with prospects... You could sort them by star rating potential which would give you an indication and when you take over a team you are informed of your top prospect.

This doesn't replace an organization depth charge where at a glance you can see where your organization is weak, and work on finding players to fill the gaps.

I agree -- that was a great EHM feature, and the FHM2 alternative really isn't a good alternative. Hopefully, in a later patch, or in the next version of the game, the developers will consider adding that. Having said that, I am very pleased that the game is progressing. Thanks to all on the team.

I agree 100% -- the "glancibilty" of information in FHM2 is probably one of the biggest gripes I have.

I shouldn't have to uncheck 6 boxes to view one position.

I shouldn't have to view each Scout separately in a drop down to see what I've scouted.

It makes me wonder if the developers have any experience in UX and Information Design.

However, that is beside the current point as a depth chart is a regular tool used in every sport to get a quick look at your organizational strengths and weaknesses.

In fact, OOTP offers the feature. So does EHM, so does FM. It is a basic feature of managing a team.
