Need help with photos in OOTP 20

I've tried a variety of ways to load the real player photos into my 2019 season, and nothing seems to work:

#1, none of my attempts to load all of the pictures have worked.
#2, I've even tried loading individual photos. About one out of three attempts will work. That's it.

So, I'm the only one having this problem?
I never struggled with this in any of the previous versions of the game.

You've been lucky then----the real photo part of this game has been a mess ever since facegen became the developers preferred mode of showing the players. I have owned every iteration of OOTP back to the original game and there are certain things that have been a problem since then and never corrected and there are "new" technology additions that don't work right and never have and remain unfixed. One of these are real photos----if you go back through all the previous OOTP forums you will find every year since the inception of facegen problem with real photos they vary as to what they are but they have been there all along. Photos mysteriously disappear, mysteriously are replaced by facegens, are mysteriously replaced by default pictures, simply do not display at all, in OOTP 20 I have encountered a new phenomenon photos show with a piece of another photo attached to the edge of them. There are many more issues as you go back but the bottom line is the developers want you to use facegen and simply never bother to chime in or fix photo issues !

Well, at least I know that it's not that I'm just too stupid to figure it out. Thanks!
