Relocating teams/

I played Diamond Mine forever and would always move the Angels from LA/Anaheim/California (you get the picture) to my home town of Salt Lake City. I set up my first season and played it out this way but advancing to the next season everything resets back to LA/Anaheim/California. Is there a way to avoid this? I have tried Historical leagues as well as a fictional league.

Also, can you mark players on other teams to not be traded? Playing historical seasons I would like a player like Don Mattingly to stay on the Yankees, not be traded to the Braves.

Uncheck the box for automatic expansion. If you have that box checked the game will always reset your league according to history. Leave it unchecked and your team will remain in Salt Lake, but you will have to handle things like expansion and team moves manually.
