Clone or import player from other world

I mostly play an imported game that started out in 2015 and has carried on since. I import the game to the new OOTP every year. For immersion reasons I sometimes edit the biggest names in baseball to make them appear more up to date.

I would love an option to clone or update a player from another world.

Current example: Ronald Acuna has grown to be one of the biggest prospects in baseball. The Ronald Acuna of OOTP19 is good. The Ronald Acuna of my old imported game is not. In fact, he is really bad.

What I do is I go into a new game, I write down Acuna's ratings from the editor. Then I go back to my own game and I edit him. I realize that this wouldn't fit everyone since it takes away a bit of player development in the game, but it fits me who like some names to be as accurate as possible.

My suggestion is for this to be an easier and less time consuming task:

1. Create a new standard game (to get current roster updates)
2. Go to the player you want to edit in your imported game. Or create a fictional player in case the one you want to update isn't in your game at all.
3. In the player profile, there could be an option that said "clone player from other world" or something like that. Hit that button.
4. Get a prompt to choose another world eg. another saved game.
5. Get a new prompt to search for a player from that world/save. (only player ID wouldn't work since maybe the player doesn't even excist in my own world yet).
6. Choose the correct player and...boom. Your player is now cloned from the updated roster set and ready to go. Acuna would now be OOTP19 good instead of OOTP15 bad.

Maybe there could be further options like clone only name and birth data, clone only history, clone only ratings, or maybe a prompt where you could choose exactly what you want to clone (like when choosing what stats to show in the leaderboards).

This suggestion would also make it very easy to get an up to date draft class every year. Just clone your fictional kids to the newest verions of OOTP real life class. Awesome!
