Manny Machado

Has anyone ever played him in LF?

Last week I had a terrible season in Gold and got demoted to Silver. Forgot I had Machado in LF to end the season, and see if he could learn it.

Range 65
Error 58
Arm 81

Rated 38 so far.

So far this season: 26 starts, 67 chances, 67 putouts
2.6 RF
.987 Eff

I have Zobrist at 2b, Javy Baez at 3B, and Aparicio at SS.
Marquis Grissom and Kenny Lofton fill out my OF.
The #1 rated defense in my Conference.

Here's where he will get at each position, give or take a point, except for where I know the actual max:

1B - 93
2B - 64
SS - 46
3B - 76
LF - 81
CF - 44
RF - 74

You can check any player using the player editor in the standard mode of the game.

1. Write down/screengrab any player's defensive abilities and height.
2. Start a Commissioner Mode game.
3. Edit any player on the team.
4. Set all Position Experience in bottom right to 200.
5. Enter height in cm if interested in 1B ability (only position where it matters and it matters quite a bit).
6. Double the player's defensive ability ratings and enter them in the appropriate boxes. Watch carefully, because the order may vary from how they were listed on the player card.
7. Check the resulting ratings in the bottom right, dividing by 2 to get the max level at that position. Due to rounding (i.e. listed ratings are showing only whole, not fractional numbers) actual results may vary by about a point.

Machado, Seager, Altuve, and Baez are all readily available golds that can become super utilities.
