Pitcher Is Not Pitching

Trying to understand why my pitcher is not pitching. He is rested, the only pitcher that I have slotted. My pitcher is not tired either

I think we'd need to see your league files (plus any box scores or game logs you have) to see what might be happening here.

Done some testing. Seems to happen between series with a day of rest.

September 10th.

After the game the start of his off day

After his off day

Next game is a different pitcher

There was no reason to sit my pitcher. Sent in my league file

Thanks, we'll have a look.

It may possibly be related to him being set as a two way player. If he's your only pitcher then I would definitely recommend not setting him that way so that the game doesn't try to put him in the lineup. We shouldn't (we check the pitcher first and then remove him from the lineup if he's pitching that day) but there may be something screwing up between the one man rotation and two way logic.

Thanks, I see now in some cases we would check an incorrect tiredness value when evaluating whether to replace the starter.

He will still obviously have to sit many games in the year, as you are attempting to use a 1-man rotation in a league with a 2-man rotation size as the default, but correct in that he should not sit when rested.
