How do coins work?
o
I had 90, won my last game, still have 90.

Also Markus, do you get coins if you lose? You should, I lost 4 straight. I can't make my team any better if im not earning anything. That would really restrict the F2P people. Pretty much locking it P2W

That is some unbalanced team here. If I were the GM in singleplayer, I would go shopping for relievers immediately ...!

Rotation:
SP - 72 - David Cone (1994 AS)
SP - 66 - Dave Dravecky (1985 USH)
SP - 62 - Tyler Glasnow
SP - 61 - Dave Rozema (1977 Rookie)
SP - 56 - Sal Romano

Bullpen (the horrors!):
MR - 59 - Greg Holland
MR - 53 - Amir Garrett
MR - 53 - Jerry Vasto
MR - 52 - Brian Johnson
MR - 45 - Jacob Nix
MR - 42 - Cody Carroll
CL - 62 - Shawn Armstrong

Catchers:
C - 64 - Salvador Perez
C - 48 - Bryan Holaday

Infielders:
1B - 66 - Gil Hodges (1950 AS)
2B - 71 - Alfonso Soriano (2003 AS)
3B - 75 - Doug DeCinces (1983 AS)
SS - 68 - Adam Frazier
3B/1B - 68 - Christian Villanueva [DH!]
INF - 58 - Tyler Wade

Outfielders:
OF - 89 - Minnie Minoso (1954 AS)
OF - 66 - Kevin Pillar
CF - 65 - Kevin Kiermaier
OF - 60 - Ryan Freel (2004 USH)
UT - 68 - Brock Holt

That's right - my entire pen is not nearly as good as my last bench guy!=) It gets worse; I have some reserve hitters that have higher value than my relief corps F.e. a 56 Shawn Rodriguez I have no use for.

Well, Coney, looks like ya gotta pitch all day!

No Mets card btw.

You can still get coins if you lose. I just lost a game, but a player went 2-4 with a 2b and a hr, and 5 rbi, getting the Knock Them In achievement for 60 points.

You do not get points for wins / losses. You get points for special player / team achievements & performances. So even if you are losing you have a chance to unlock something special. I just got 3,500 PP for an immaculate inning (9 pitches, 3Ks) despite me losing the game.

Giving out points for losses sounds strange to me. There's no crying in baseball!

Just added Chirinos (to replace J.Sucre) and S.Newcombe ( to replace E. Rommel). Just lost one to snap a four-game winning streak, now 11-7

Starters

SS Maury Wills ('62 Record Breaker) 65
LF Willie Wilson ('82 All Star) 69
CF Andruw Jones ('00 All Star) 88
DH Nelson Cruz 73
RF Nick Markakis 69
3B Tim Wallach ('85 AS) 72
1B Ryan Zimmerman/Steve Pearce 69/69
2B Mark Bellhorn ('04 Unsung Hero) 69
C Chris Iannetta 66

Starters (YUCK):
Johnny Cueto 65
David Cone ('99 AS) 68
Marco Gonzales 66
Matt Shoemaker 66
Wade LeBlanc 63

Bullpen:
CL Josh Hader 80
RP Carl Willis ('91 Unsung Hero) 71
RP Adam Kolarek 70
RP Ryan Duren ('59 Record Breaker) 75
RP Luke Gregerson 69
RP Chris Devenski 56 (I have a lot better rated relievers, but Devenski has a 2.58 ERA in 34 games and can't take him out while hot!)

Bench
C AJ Ellis 65
1B Tony Perez ('74 AS) 64
SS Tony Kubek ('61 AS) 61
LF Randal Grichuk 68
1B Steve Pearce 69

My rotation is trash right now, but my bullpen is solid and I just pulled Willie Wilson and Mark Bellhorn to stabilize my team a bit. With Wills and Wilson setting the table for guys like Jones (leading the league in RBIs) and Cruz, this team should score runs. Defensively, Wills is not that good at SS but the OF is solid and the rest of the infield is good, namely Wallach at 3B. Still need an upgrade at C, but I'm scouring the auction house and opening packs when I can.
