Adding minor league affiliates

Hello,

I wanted to move some teams around to create my own world. I moved a couple of minor league teams to the majors and vise versa. But when I look at the teams that are now in the majors, there are no minor league affiliates. How do I add those? Thanks!

Do you have minor league teams with no major league affiliation?

Do you have major league teams with no minor league affiliates?

Or both?

League setup - look at your league structure. Edit league structure - there you can assign affiliates/parent teams.

You have to do it for each league, so ML, AAA, AA, etc etc.

Both. The minor league teams I moved to the majors don't have any teams showing up on the team home screen, and the major league teams that are now minor league teams don't send players to the majors.

Hopefully you didn't start the season yet. if you did, you're just going to have to tough it out until the offseason; at which point you expand the minor leagues. You could technically do that now by adding new teams and assigning them affiliations with the new ML teams, but they won't see any game action until you can reset the schedule.

Just do what I explained, in the league structure set the affiliations. You still have the same amount of teams you started with so there's no need to add more.

Just fix the affiliations.

Also, after you made the changes did you generate a new schedule? If not, do so.
