Game Crashes when Message are opened.

So for months I have attempted to find help with this issue which arose roughly three weeks after playing the game without any problems. I have downloaded every patch thus far with the hope that it will fix the issue. But let me start with the originial problem.

While doing a dynasty all of the sudden when I attempted to open a message in the inbox the game crashes instantly. I have windows vista, but have never had a problem with the OOTP game in the past. I have been able to replicate the problem on every other dynasty that I have attempted since then. So what I have done to cope with the issue is turn off notifications regarding personal messages and trade offers (When the pop up it causes game to crash as well.) and I play with out using the inbox feature. Unfortunately this will not suffice and I would much appreciate a solution to my issue.

I have also attempted to uninstall and reinstall but much to my dismay my computer will not allow me to unlicense my game, so I was forced to use up my second license in reinstallation process so now I am out of licenses and without a fully functioning game. Can I please get some technical support in the past I have logged the issue and emailed the site about this issue and have gotten no help whatsoever. Please help me out here.

Yes, I know this reply is almost a month later, but researching someone else's problem lead me to it.

I don't suppose you were ever able to resolve your problem?

If you've re-installed over it (on the same computer) then I believe your only way to get your license back is to email, since you're using Windows, elicense. Follow instruction "E" from the above linked sticky.

(I think they're both better than both the AL and NL games)
