Jersey Tutorial

This is pretty sloppy, and to save space and to simplify, I only used the 'front jersey' part of the OOTP Jersey.

I did it on the fly nad put no advance thought into it, i just banged it out as I went. I tried to cover the basics of Layers, Masking and Layer Styles. I hope there's something useful in it for you guys.

Thanks so much for this. Your timing is immaculate. I had just started my new solo fictional league and created 36 logos using your tutorial. I had, however, just used default unis, being fearful of tackling that part. Now -- I think I can give it a try.

Please let me know if you find it helpful at all or if anything needs clarification.

I wasnt sure if any of the stuff in there was common knowledge or not.

Gern, I don't know where you get the basic 'frame' of the jersey that you begin with. Is this something available for download or included in the game, or do you make it yourself?

That frame is created from the basic Jersey Template that OOTP uses in the game. You can take any of the jersey templates that come with it and remove the colors or just darken it. Alternately, I can post one for you tomorrow.

Hey Gern,

Thanks for the tutorial. I think it will be very useful to anyone wanting to create their own unique jerseys. Since now that I have PSP X3, I will have to give your tutorial a try.

Btw, is there a way I can get that shading layer?

Thanks,
Galen
