Lightbulb NHL Draft Pick Assignments Per Season

NHL Draft Pick Assignments Per Season

The following thread will contain historically correct rights of draft picks to be used at the start of a historic game in FHM.
I will list all moved draft picks and its transaction for the next three Entry Drafts at the start of a specific season.

Example:
The list for the 1990-91 start date will list all draft picks moved for the following 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995 Entry Drafts.
Right now only picks for the next three seasons can be modified.
But I include season four and five in hope that it might be possible in future FHM versions.
At the start of your game manually change all those draft picks for each team.

I will list the draft picks sorted by original owner to enable easy editing by teams:
Original Team;New Team;Year;Round;
Boston Bruins;New York Rangers;1991;6;
Buffalo Sabres;Los Angeles Kings;1991;4;
Buffalo Sabres;Toronto Maple Leafs;1991;8;
Edmonton Oilers;Montreal Canadiens;1991;5;

How to edit:
1. Enable "Commissioner Mode" (Disable after finishing the modifications)
2. Edit Draft Picks Rights On Each Team

Original Team;New Team;Year;Round;
Boston Bruins;New York Rangers;1991;6;
Buffalo Sabres;Los Angeles Kings;1991;4;
Buffalo Sabres;Toronto Maple Leafs;1991;8;
Edmonton Oilers;Montreal Canadiens;1991;5;

How to edit:
1. Enable "Commissioner Mode" (Disable after finishing the modifications)
2. Edit Draft Picks Rights On Each Team
So if i edit one of those picks in the picture to another team how does that team get that pick of its? Just so i can update trades in my save file to match up to real life trades

Just to make sure, your question is how the modified picks are assigned to a new team, right?
Whenever you change a pick in the "Edit" Screen of a team and hit the "Save" button, the changed pick is assigned to the new team.
You can check this by having a look at the "Depth Chart" of the team the pick has been assigned to.

Just to clarify with an example for a game started in 1990.
Enable Comm.-Mode and go through this list and update the picks for each "Original Team" to "New Team":

Original Team;New Team;Year;Round;
Boston Bruins;New York Rangers;1991;6;
Boston Bruins;Minnesota North Stars;1992;4;
Buffalo Sabres;Los Angeles Kings;1991;4;
Buffalo Sabres;Toronto Maple Leafs;1991;8;
Edmonton Oilers;Montreal Canadiens;1991;5;
Edmonton Oilers;Philadelphia Flyers;1991;6;
Edmonton Oilers;Quebec Nordiques;1991;9;
Los Angeles Kings;Edmonton Oilers;1991;1;
Los Angeles Kings;St. Louis Blues;1991;3;
Los Angeles Kings;Detroit Red Wings;1992;8;
Los Angeles Kings;Edmonton Oilers;1993;1;
Minnesota North Stars;Montreal Canadiens;1992;4;
Montreal Canadiens;Chicago Blackhawks;1991;2;
New Jersey Devils;Winnipeg Jets;1991;5;
New Jersey Devils;Washington Capitals;1991;10;
New York Rangers;Hartford Whalers;1991;3;
New York Rangers;Minnesota North Stars;1991;4;
Philadelphia Flyers;Buffalo Sabres;1991;4;
Philadelphia Flyers;Toronto Maple Leafs;1991;8;
Quebec Nordiques;Chicago Blackhawks;1991;6;
St. Louis Blues;Washington Capitals;1991;1
St. Louis Blues;Montreal Canadiens;1991;2;
St. Louis Blues;Washington Capitals;1992;1
St. Louis Blues;Washington Capitals;1993;1
St. Louis Blues;Washington Capitals;1994;1
St. Louis Blues;Washington Capitals;1995;1
Toronto Maple Leafs;New Jersey Devils;1991;1;
Toronto Maple Leafs;Winnipeg Jets;1991;5;
Washington Capitals;Buffalo Sabres;1991;6;
Washington Capitals;Hartford Whalers;1992;6;
Winnipeg Jets;St. Louis Blues;1991;2;

You do not have to execute any player movements or trades.
This list will only make the start of a 1990 game more realistic, as e.g. L.A. does not have the 1st round picks of the Gretzky trade and the Blues do not have any 1st rounders until 1995.

I hope this helps...

So if if Team A's 2nd pick is supposed to belong to Team B i just change the team to Team B hit Save then Team A's 2nd pick will belong to Team B
