Unhappy 88 Bob Feller

Anyone use an 88 Bob Feller? I gave him a shot purely in his theoretical FIPS, but so far in 68.2 innings, he has 74 walks.

I think his small sample size is running out - he'd struggle if he just had 6 or 7 walks/9. He's threatening more like 10 walks/9 right now.

He has one of the worst control ratings I've seen for a starting pitcher. He might have a place in a bullpen somewhere but that's about it imo.

I have him. I'm currently trying him in the bullpen to see if it's any better. He's ****ing awful.

Unless you're reading this with the intent to buy, then he's a goldmine! A hidden gem, I tell you! I'll, reluctantly, sell you mine.

His control is downright dreadful. I've been using the 88 Feller on my all Indians team for 10 seasons or so and he consistently makes me want to slam a baseball almanac into my monitor's rectangular glowing face so it can learn about Rapid Robert lol

The perfect Feller has a 49 control rating, so he's passable as a starter in gold and perhaps higher. He's much pricier though.

I put him in the bullpen.

Man, a guy with three fingers could outpitch him!
