Playing 1981 with a full 162 game schedule?

New to the game and I'm trying to replay the 1981 season with a full schedule but every time I try it's the strike-shortened, truncated version.

On Historical tab I've checked "use real historical transactions" and "real historical lineups" because I want the season as close to the real one as possible (but for the schedule).

Further, on the Options tab, Number of games per team is 162.

Any suggestions?

If you use historical lineups and transactions, you will only get the strike shortened season.

My best guess is to play in commissioner mode with real life transactions off and just force them to happen as they did in real life.
