Recalc On? Development On? What do you see in the editor under Real Stats? He is nothing special in K/BB in the database.

David Maroul (maroul001dav) has wacky stats for the 2006 Augusta minor league team.

BA - 2.513
OBP - 1.637
Slugging - 4.051
OB+S - 5.689

He is not surprisingly the runaway leader of a number of South Atlantic League leaderboard categories!

I see nothing in the Historical db to account for this. IRL 98 for 393 with 11 HR's in 106 games.

What do you see in the editor?
Recalc On?
Development On?

Recalc is off, development is in at normal speed but with talent change randomness reduced to 40. The editor shows him with a 139:48 K:BB ratio (2.90).

With Recalc Off and Development On anything can happen.

Recalc On is key to reigning in Development.

Rip is not reigned in. So there you go.

I started a modern day game, so those figures came pre-loaded. I only noticed them when browsing the league history leaderboard. Will start another game when back in front of computer and see if the same thing happens.

Win Clark/Bill Clarkson

After 2017 having these 2 mixed up and importing incorrectly when starting a historical game in 1901. i thought I would try these as a starting point to see if the Historical game was better set up this time.

I have hit the same snag as last year but it manifests slightly differently this time and also has another bug possibly with the loading of players.

When I start 1901 historical (real players and real calc and import full history) Win Clark is missing. I import him using his baseball reference name clarkbi01. This imports both Win Clark and Bill Clarkson.

When I try to delete Bill Clarkson or do anything to Win Clark the game them crashes with an error and shuts down.

Both players are listed in the Master.CSV in the stats file as Clarkbi01. Shouldn't Bill Clarkson be Clarkbi02 like his baseball reference page?

i also tried importing another player and the game died as well. I will report this as its own ticket in the bug forum but thought I would mention Win Clark and Bill Clarkson here.

Historical Roster sets when you search David Palmer's ID and also Gary Woods they do not come back correctly...In Palmer's case he comes back as the wrong guy...Unless you use his Minor League ID then he comes back as the correct player with complete stats from his minor and major league career...His overall and Potential Ratings are more accurate when using his minor league ID to find the correct player too

Gary Woods (when using his minor league or major league ID) does not come back correctly...neither will give you complete career for Woods...one leaves out his MLB career and the other leaves out his MILB career and the ratings do not match on him....

Also 1977 Minor League INF Henry Macias (Cedar Rapids Giants) comes in the game as a P (He pitched 2 games) instead of a INF....

Also, with players like Alan Knicely, Rick Honeycutt, Boots Day, and Donnie Alfano who got plenty of time as pitchers and hitters are there any suggestions on how to use them...U have to choose them as a hitter or pitcher when you aren't managing their team and it throws off their sim stats when you sim those games

Clarkson is now 02
Clark 03 Win Clark is clark03wi Louisville 1897
Clark01wi is Wee Willie Clark

I did not find any MLB stats for 01 so I'll need to look into that further

Since they were cross-linked deleting one would delete both.

Only one has a MLB career.

Gary Woods (when using his minor league or major league ID) does not come back correctly...neither will give you complete career for Woods...one leaves out his MLB career and the other leaves out his MILB career and the ratings do not match on him....There are likewise two gary Woods they one you want had two different birth years in MiLB and MLB. This has been adjusted

Also 1977 Minor League INF Henry Macias (Cedar Rapids Giants) comes in the game as a P (He pitched 2 games) instead of a INF....This is out of the databases control, the game decides

OOTP18 does not support 2 way players. It will move them to and from pitching as it chooses.

I know there were 2 David Palmer's the one that only played for Oneonta is linked to the big leaguer's ID.....If you put in the big leaguer's minor league ID the correct David Palmer (the big league one is discovered)

Thanks for the Woods fix

I'm not sure if this is the right place to report this but the AL East Standing from 2016 is wrong. Blue Jays should be 2nd instead of the Orioles and the Yankees doesn't even have a record...(shown as 0-0)

If you are playing a Historical game then Yes

If standard, Custom, or Quickstart then No

It's a standard game. The incorrect info is in the league history index. Maybe still a database error? Where should I report this?

One level up. The different game modes do not share data. I think they should but they don't.

Some of the duplicated player errors in historical league minor league imports are popping up again. It seems to be because some of the ID's between the major and minor league databases don't match up (mostly for those with apostrophes and shortened first names). I cross-referenced players' whose MLB id is different between the major (playerid) and minor (BBrefMLBid) .csv databases (don't worry it took me like 10 minutes in R). The info is below, with the mismatched id's in the last two columns. Hopefully this is a minor fix.

Anyway to get this as a spreadsheet or something usable? This mass of words and numbers is not user friendly.

The following four players do not import correctly for my 2016 replay league, either in the game's automatically generated player pool or when the players' Lahman IDs are entered for a manual import.

(baumabu01) Buddy Baumann
(delosab01) Abel de los Santos
(suterbr01) Brent Suter
(stewabr01) Brock Stewart

That seems to be it for pitchers but there may be other hitters missing as well.
