The Ranger loaded them up in the 9th but Daniel Peters pitched out of it, striking out the last two batters, to preserved a nice game by Mike Krukow and a 4-1 victory for the Blue Jays.

The Rangers absolutely crsiehd the Blue Jays today, putting up two different six run innings and beating them 13-1.

Paul Molitor has hit in 15 straight games.

A 9th inning homer by Mark McGwire did the Jays in today as they fell 4-2 to the Rangers.

Tony Gwynn hit his 3rd home run. Paul Molitor has now hit in 16 straight games.

Al Carlson's 3-run homer capped a big comeback by the Jays that turned a 5-1 deficit into a 6-5 victory!

The Jays have signed Ron Guidry to 3 more years at $900,000 per year.

That is a lot of lettuce, but Guidry is a lot of pitcher!

Robin Yount and Bill Johnson each collected three hits.
