-Also, we're looking into changes for player ratings, so while the players may be the same, we certainly won't guarantee ratings will be the same.

Plus, we'll have a full year of new content releases, not just the few months like we've had so far

There will certainly be more Expos players.

Just curious if there has been a change to the rule about players who have learnt new positions keeping these when moving teams?

I auctioned off JosÚ Oquendo to myself for the full AVG bid as had no need for him on one team, and required a backup 2B and SS for my main team. Normally had no problems with this previously but Oquendo has lost all of his stats but also lost his development at SS.

I am pretty sure the above is legit as have made normal value. Obviously if not, then just let me know!

Starting Date for PT in OOTP20

1. Is the plan to have PT20 ready to go day one of the new OOTP20 release? Or will there be a break in period of the new game before PT starts up?

2. Will it be possible to play our PT19 team AND PT20 team with the same account? I'm assuming if we log in under OOTP19 it will take us to our PT19 and logging in under the OOTP20 will take us to our PT20 team?

I think it might be cool if there were manager cards in PT20, and they effected your teams performance/strategy. Maybe even turn off the sliders we have for team strategy and make the team behave however the manager thought we should.

Personal Catcher

How can you go about setting up a personal catcher for a Starting Pitcher? I'd like to have a specific catcher for a pitcher a la Greg Maddux / Eddie Perez. I'd like to do it without having to do the 7 day lineup

Why, in 4-man rotation, doesn't matter how many pitches I limit my starters to? No matter if I set limitation to 85 or 65 they are just never fully rested in four days (always rested to 81-83%). I would expect that if I decrease their load they should regenerate faster - not really expecting 100% recovery but let's say difference between 85 pitch limit count and 65 could be 80% and 90% rested in four days... What am I missing? Thanks.

I got an in-game email suggesting I vote for the All-Star game early and often.
I cannot find the perfect team All-Star ballot though!

Do I need more coffee, or is All-Star voting an automated process in Perfect Team?

Yes, all-star voting is not enabled in PT. We reuse a lot of same messages from the base game, and not all of them will apply to PT.

That seems pretty realistic to me.

Is Andruw Jones worth the premium over CFs like Garry Maddox and 1982 Andre Dawson?

I have Andruw Jones, his defense is great and his offense is ok. But he can fetch 14k at the auction house. I can pick up another good defender for 2k-4k and save the rest for Trout or just grab some packs.

Dawson hits worse than Jones, plays the worst CF and LF of the bunch, but is faster than Jones. I wouldn't choose him.

Maddox is a better CON + GAP hitter than Jones, is a high-end base runner, and plays defense than is elite (not Jones god-tier levels, but still elite). I'd choose Maddox because he's going to be putting so many more balls in play and has the legs to take extra bases that Jones wouldn't.

Is there somewhere that you can see all the possible player cards in the PT universe?

Regarding purchased points... If you want one of the higher priced players, and spend $100 on points, will you always have those points or that player? Or, will there be a time that you lose the player, and have nothing to show for the $100 in points?

You will have that player until the server is turned off; in the case of OOTP19 that will be about another year from now. At that point the points/player are deleted forever.

If you look at it as an experience and not as a physical purchase it makes a lot of sense. It's still cheaper than taking a family of four to dinner and a movie which provides at most a few hours of entertainment where having a perfect Willie Mays will purchased today is good for a year of playing Perfect Team.

I have a situation where I want to sell a Perfect player, and he would be a great fit on my Diamond team. If I put him up for sale at his average sell cost, is it allowable to buy your own player in another league?

If your accounts share the license, you won't be able to bid on your own player.

That's what I thought...I didn't end up bidding as I didn't want to take a chance on doing something that could penalize me. thx

Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend. Is PT going to automatically adjust and maintain the current sim schedule come Sunday, or will things be an hour off?
