Where do you guys keep all your logos?

Thanks to the generous ootp19 community I've been able to collect a whole bunch of logos/jerseys/caps. Right now I've got them in folders in my pictures on my computer. I'm wondering if I should keep them there or put them directly into the game folders? What does every one else do?

If you put them in the corresponding logo, ballcaps, and jersey folders in the OOTP directory (under data) and they're named properly then the game will automatically load them, so that's what I do.

I'm an organization nut so I've got all mine in a folder called "OOTP stuff" that contains MLB teams, fictional teams, schedules, etc. -- anything I want to keep.

i put mine a separate folder "Logos - mine" (so it shows up right after the game logos folder) - and manually load them. Works well for the way i play the game.

If you plan on being active with this game series for years to come, I highly suggest getting very organized.

I keep all of my OOTP related files on a separate hard drive and I have a second hard drive that I use as a backup. That way if my portable hard drive fails, I haven't lost everything.

Some thing goes for you storing all of your OOTP stuff on a computer. If the computer craps out, you are up the creek with no paddle especially if you don't have a secondary backup.

I also have things setup so I can locate things easy.

I have a main folder that I use for logos and images. Inside that "parent folder" I have folders labeled A-Z and for example if a logo is for the New York Knights, I'll have the logo stored in the "N" folder and the "K" folder. I will also have that same logo in a different folder system that I use for uniforms and hats.

In my main uniform folder I also have several folders, "A-Z" and that New York Knights logo will also be found in the "New York Knights" folder that is found in the "N" folder.

The key is to be organized; the earlier the better. And it is always good to get the stuff that interests you since as time goes by, links for downloads will go bad or disappear.

Before you know it many years will go by and you will have a huge collection and you'll be glad you are organized.

Good Luck

Same here.

But basically it doesn't matter where you place them as long as you can find them

Yeah, I do something similar. I have them sorted into folders based on whether they are primary logos, small/cap logos, letter logos or circular/glossy style.

same here like others have already said... I keep a separate folder with all my custom logos/ballcaps/jerseys/facegens/etc, as well as the first-name, name files and adjusted world.xml database... (also keep a copy in the cloud)...

I just copy/paste everything into their corresponding folders in the OOTP folder once that's been downloaded, so it all loads up automatically when I launch the game.
