Pre Draft List:
(These are for the rounds 2-4)

Shortlist: (Three aren't for the draft. Desmond, Desjardins and Walls).

Jake Walman

Scouting Report/Ratings:

There are a couple of glaring issues to me (Coachability, hockey sense and character), I would like to draft him in the 3rd round.

Eetu Sopanen

Scouting/Ratings

Again, I am concerned about his injury proneness (My best scout has reported this), his character and his hockey sense. He will be a project. I would like to draft him in the 4th round.

Ryan Macinnis

Scouting/Ratings

Again, hockey sense and character seems to be down, but I do love that his skating is great. Like his positioning, pokechecking and defensive read is already in a decent place. I would love to draft him in the 2nd round.

Jakub Vrana

Ratings/Scouting

I understand he was drafted in the first round in real life, and I fully expect him to go the same in the game. But I am holding onto a small sliver of hope that he will fall into the 2nd round.

Looking at their injury list, Couturier is injured for 6 days. Now, looking at their line up and whelp... LeCav is playing on the top line (though he has 13 points in 20 games). He's probably not the reason why but getting back Couts would be good.

Reading up on Eetu, it says he's eligible for the 2014 draft (Here), but he wasn't drafted despite it saying he's a top prospect amongst defensemen from Finland.

Was he eligible but never drafted or did Hockey's future make a typo and meant he's eligible for 2015 draft?

Toronto trades:

Basically just a contract clearing trade. The famous future considerations trade.

This one, I feel might set me back a little, but I do feel that Monahan is worth that package. Just hope that 1st in 2016 doesn't come back and bite us in the butt.

Sent down:

Sean Monahan Sent back to Ottawa 67's
Ryan Hartman Sent back to Plymouth Whalers

Call ups:

Jerry D'amigo called up
Tyler Biggs called up

NHL transaction: (Wouldn't really post these types of trades, but I do find this one to be amusing, as a Sens fan )

He was eligible in 2014 but never drafted because of injury filled season. Now he's probably going to be low risk high reward late round pick if everything goes well in his career.

Another future considerations trade

Immediately, I offer Gabriel Desjardins a 3 year contract. If he signs, he will take McLaren's spot in the Marlies.

How active will Toronto be in the trade market?

Don't expect us to be very active. I would love to ship out 1 or 2 big name players, but right now, we are kinda in no man's land. We do hold a playoff position by 3 points but it's hard to tell if we will make it or not. If anything, I might make small deals, like this one:

First blockbuster trade: (Not sure who "won" this trade. Will be interesting to see how Daniel will play without his brother though xD)
